Compliance Checks with Trading Standards

Good afternoon everyone,

Your neighbourhood team has teamed up with trading standards to conduct compliance checks at local shops in the area.

These visits check for the illegal sale of alcohol and vapes to underage children, counterfeit goods, illegally imported foods/toys and more!

We visited 3 shops in Milnrow and Littleborough and seized a total of 202 unsafe toys, 16 non-compliant foods and 3 pairs of counterfeit Apple Air Pods.

We will continue to conduct these checks with trading standards on a regular basis to prevent the sale of these illegal items.
